Does anyone daily their cammed Camaro?

So hopefully sooner than later I'll be getting my card back with a BTR stage 2 LS3 cam swap. The guy doing the swap has told me big lift cams like that or the GPI SS1 VVT cam I had in there aren't meant to be dailies. Idk I mean I trust him he knows more about shit than I do. I'm just also like I wasn't to drive my car. I want to enjoy the money I've spent. I think I'm averaging like 4.5k miles a year of owning it. What do you guys think? Would love some feedback on this. How are you guys on your miles mainly cammed miles?

Gunchamp yes I know your car. After looking at the name think the GPI max build with Corsa started a whole Corsa is the best exhaust topic on here. Everyone has been pretty helpful. But is there anyway you guys could give your annual miles you daily?

BTR Stage 3 472 RWHP 445 TQ. I daily mine unless it's raining. Same as before cammed.
My gas mileage has suffered quite a bit.

If the car is properly tuned your not going to have many issues with DD'ing the car unless you go wild with the build. The tune is where it's made or lost.

I used to daily.. put on 20k miles on the cam. Loved the drive, sucked in gas, but oh well. Would daily mine if I didn’t have a company car. And what so mean daily now, would be driving it for a day...

I’d run and never let that guy touch your car again. Stock motors have a cam, so you can daily drive with a aftermarket cam. I have a bigger cam than your going with and daily drive mine for 6 months or so after the install. The only reason I don’t any longer is because we moved and we got a 3rd car for my wife to commute in so I drive my truck 3 days a week. You’ll be fine tho man. Getting groceries in your cammed 5th gen is an amazing feeling, you’ll turn all the heads.
