What spark plugs are you guys using?

Having my heads and cam done this weekend. need to know if I need to upgrade my plugs. thanks in advance.

Throw some TR6s in there. If you're having a shop do it they should be able to recommend and install plugs.

Which heads and cam? I have prc heads in my basement that I need to install yet. Haven't chosen a cam yet, had a night fury but changed my mind

Those are iridium version. I have the copper ones and they was $20.

While tr6's work they're better options in my opinion, I'd stay with iridium for the build you listed.

We run the TR5IX on mild builds, TR6IX on low boost/heads/cam cars, and we switch to the Iridium Denso plugs (IT22, 7 heat range, or IT 24, 8 heat range) on higher HP applications. They are still a projected tip plug, but they are less projected then the NGKs, about halfway between the NGK projected and non-projected (i.e. BR7ef). The Iridium last way longer than the copper NGKs, and the Denso plugs allow us to run an Iridium plug on higher boost without going to a copper BR7EF that idles like crap (IMO).

I'm running copper TR5's gapped at .040 on my stockish, bolt on car. TR6 seems like a popular option for something a bit more modified like yours.
