Wow , I think no I know I would have to do that job myself , and I would wait till I had a broken windshield to do it. We don't need heat in Phoenix , and as long as the AC was frosty cold I am good to go .

Don't know if it will help in your case but I saw a DIY on removing heater core without removing the windshield. Cutting off the bolts. don't remember if it was on this forum or not. Try searching for a video.
