Anyone DD'ing a LS here?
Just as the title states, is anyone daily driving a LS model?
Really thinking about a White LS M6. If you have an LS, why did you get the LS over the LT?

I bought it to do my own mods to it. Didn't need power seat. I wanted to be different. Don't get me wrong, I like all the models. |

Got 15k on it now in about 5 months. It is my DD and with the mileage I put on a car, I needed as good as it got in mpg and since I was going to trash it with the mileage, it didn't make sense to spend too much on it. The 1LS is what I justified to buy. Beautiful car, decent mileage, beautiful car. It deserved two beautiful in why I bought it.

I drive my CGM 6M LS every weekday, 20 miles round trip to work. I bought the LS over the LT's because I have never needed "fog" lamps and it gave me a great reason to buy aftermarket wheels, which I still have not done yet. I still enjoy the steelies for now. People comment positively about them all the time, but I have to admit I have been looking online more often lately for some different wheels.
I'm at 1650 miles and I have enjoyed the hell out of every single one! |

I bought the 2Lt, the extras that came with it are nice, fog lamps, heated seats, and so on. I wanted the console gauges as well, I have them in my 68 RS and they look cool don't really use them, may glance down at a light.

Reasons why I went LS: I mean seriously for about 22-23k after rebates can you get a better deal? I love telling people who are admiring my car that it's not nearly as expensive as they think it is. I wanted to keep the payment as low as possible I live in DC and am forced to park on the street. I wanted the car now, not a year or two from now when I move out of the city, so I bought the only model I could justify to myself for parking on the street. I don't have to worry about scratching up my rims parallel parking or anybody stealing them. Here's some pics for the guy that asked. These are on my 550 mile drive home from the dealership, so ignore the bugs all over it. |

Here is link to my Victory Red 1LS Camaro. To answer why I didn't go for the 1LT, I figured once I set the seat, I'd never adjust it again so the power driver's side only seat wasn't an option that I really needed to have. While I don't find the rims attractive, I didn't care for the 1LT either so I thought it would be money spent on what I really wanted. Unfortunately what I wanted was Cragar S/S and they don't make it for the Camaro. |
