My previous daily driver was a '10 MS3. Had to trade it in for a larger car after my daughter was born (Thankfully the wife doesn't bitch about my weekend cars lol). It was a fun little car, I just hated the clutch and mpg's were terrible for a DD.

Sure, here you go. My car does have the PDR and leather knee pads.
Sorry they are so big...

Hmmm was thinking about the suede knee pads but now that I see the leather that seems to match pretty darn well (armrest, seat leather, etc.)

Same here, I had both, sold the suede ones.

Nice! The leather knee pads are perfect. That really should be included with the 1SS. The plastic ones look and feel super cheap.

Was your clutch not stock? I have no issues with mine. It gets about 21 mpg for me, not too bad. And I really like the MS3, but I wanted to get back to rear wheel drive.

There's another member here who also had a MS3 before moving to a new Camaro. It's interesting that there are at least three of us here.

Thanks for the compliments guys, I just wish I could drive it, it's 4 degrees here.

I must admit I like your leather pads better then my suede. Yours do match way better then mine. I will stick with them though. I do however like my floor mats and pedals better then yours

Yeah stock clutch, I drove a few, all the same, just had an odd engagement point that made it hard to do a smooth, low speed 1-2 shift. I was on that stupid Mazdaspeed forum and it seemed to be the norm. It also was my first manual that wasn't attached to a V8, so the lack of low end torque also may have contributed to how I felt it was. I got about 21 mpg's too, which on my 60 mile roundtrip commute sucked lol. I put about 50,000 miles on it in the three years I had it, only issue I had was a bad window motor, and the little red dash display went out. Both fixed under warranty.

I think I know who you're talking about. My MS3 was my daily driver, which replaced a total piece of crap GTI that I had less than a year, and my current 2.0 EcoBoost Fusion replaced the MS3 due to family needs.

My current SS 1LE replaced a Mustang GT (auto), which replaced another Mustang GT (manual), which replaced a C5Z, which replaced a LS1 4th gen Camaro.

Off topic alert!
Nice selection of cars! It looks like we also intersect at a 4th gen Camaro, I had a silver SS from 1998. I was on LS1.com for years and eventually modded the car with an Incon Twin Turbo kit. Then I sold it to a guy in Texas and I think he grenaded the motor.

Where did you live when you had the 4th gen?

Mine was a 2000 SS. Bought it new in November of '99, had it for about ten years. Ended up doing a big cam, intake, long tubes, 12 bolt, full suspension, etc, etc. I was on LS1.com in the beginning, then ended up as a contributing member on LS1Tech. I lived on Long Island for the majority of the cars life with me, with the last few years in Florida. Sold it to someone in Tennessee with 65,000 miles on it. I think he resold it a few years later and I lost track of it. I still miss this car, lots of memories attached to it.
