Scott stated it would be a short delay due to the Impala. They are building the Impala with a similar color, which is pushing the CGM back just a short bit. Not by much at all is what I believe he stated.

Thanks for a GREAT show Scott...

BLBL WMR, in a effort not to open more threads I will post some additional pictures here if you do not mind.

First, I would like to say thanks to Scott (Fbodfather) for putting on a great exhibit. I thought, if I can at least sit in one Camaro at the show I would be happy. Instead, I was able to sit in four...I was stoked!

Also, I was able to meet the lovely Samantha. She was the one who taught Conan O'Brien to demo the car. She was awesome and a wealth of knowledge as well.

I will not repeat many of the pictures GLBL WMR put up already. Here are a few of the detail shots, which might be of interest to everyone.

One important note: The IO interior is not nearly as bright as pictures suggest. If you take the picture with a flash it appears quite bright orange, but in natural color, it is a darker redish/orange color leaning more to the orange. It is not as loud as past pictures suggest. Also, the orange is surrounded by BLACK leather. Any grayness is only due to light. In the car it is black/orange.

Ok, sorry I am having an issue posting the pictures. I will post in the AM.

First, a huge THANK YOU to Scott and his team for allowing us the privilege to be a part of this event. We were extremely fortunate to be able to sit in and crawl around EVERY car. I overheard Scott say to someone that even though the cars get pretty beat up because of the sprayed-on interiors, dropping the ropes was the right thing to do for us. That shows what an awesome guy he is and how proud he is of the Camaro. I had the opportunity to speak with him for a few minutes and wow, I can't think of a better person to be working on this project.

I was the one that asked about the ambient lighting, and GLBL WMR pretty much covered his answer. I was hoping for a definite yes or no as to whether or not it will be ready at production, but I honestly believe if he knew he would have told us. GLBL WMR described the interior feeling of the car perfectly. It has an awesome cockpit feel to it. I felt like as soon as I stepped in the interior swallowed me up (in a good way) and I was in control of the car. It has a very snug, yet comfortable and spacious feeling. The pictures of the orange seats do not look anything like they do in person. For me, they are absolutely gorgeous in person and are the perfect color orange. They do not appear red at all. If you are anywhere near the Philly area, you have to get to the show to see these cars!

It was great to meet those of you I spoke briefly with. Thanks again to Scott, the entire Camaro team, and the folks at 5thgen.org for organizing this awesome event. I'll never forget it.

PS - GLBL WMR, you caught me and my dad in a couple of your photos of the silver SS. I'm an internet star now

Oz

Edit - Just wanted to edit my original post to also thank the guys from SLP who brought a G8 Firehawk for us to see. I believe it was only there for us because I saw them sneaking it out the back just before the show opened to the public. It was a pretty cool looking car for those who didn't see it. It had a flat black hood and some pretty impressive hardware under the hood. Hopefully someone got some pics. Anyone remember what they said for horsepower? I remember 500+

I've said it once, but I'll say it again. I love the GMPP catback exhaust on the LS7!!!

-The larger diameter exhaust tips look soooo good to me. Much more aggressive.

-The smaller mufflers look like they will be hidden from plain view from the back of the car, unlike the stock mufflers which can be seen from certain angles (pet peave of mine for sure).

I've got my fingers crossed that they sound awesome and provide a nice little bump in power.
