GM Dove tail / Blade spoiler
Installed this spoiler today - got it from GMPARTSHOUSE off ebay for $419.00 + 19.00 shipping painted. Took about 2 weeks and the box arrived un damaged. First you had to remove the old spoiler if you had one - if not just use the supplied template. 6 bolts and off it came, then you had to drill a hole for the new third light wire harness. This is a 3 piece spoiler kit - the kit came with a template which made the install easy - use blue painters tape to position template on back of car. You will have to drill 5 holes in your new Camaro so be prepared to cringe. You lower the back seat to tap into the RPS wiring harness and snap in the connectors. Follow the factory harness and zip tie to existing wires ( you will probably need more zip tie's than the 2 supplied) I had to drill bigger holes on rear sides of car to fine tune the two spoiler sides for correct position fit, pulled off the double sided tape to affix. Hardest part was crawling into the trunk from the inside to tighten the spoiler sides which was accomplished by a swivel head ratchet - a must to install, then installed thr new gas struts for the trunk. Your Camaro will now look mean !! Took about 2 hours and I took my time and was careful. Really big difference in looks !! Great kit with good instructions

Come on guys. Quit beating up on the new members. If you're mean to them, they won't want to come back.

Be sure to add pictures! I love the dovetail and believe that GM should've had a dovetail style spoiler on the car to begin with!!
