Matt at Florida Speed and power. He knows and can elaborate on the vvt cam install better than I can. Best service in this industry. Plus a 24/7 help line.

You are going to need to replace all the basic parts needed for a cam and depending how big a cam you go you'll want a stall. Matt posted a build thread in the v8 section of my car, I'd link to it but on my phone

+1 FSP.. .Oh wait

Thanks guys for the kind words. I'd be glad to go into any VVT discussions, basically the best route to go is of course change the DoD lifters out, use the comp cams phaser limiter set, add a nice tight torque converter for a decent sized VVT cam and away you go. You can get some cams that will work with the stock converter, but you are much better off going with an aftermarket higher stall.

If you want to send me a PM with your goals/intentions , name and email I'll send you over a quote. We have just completed a couple of VVT and LS3 conversions.

We can help you with that. After your install, you will have a quality calibration of your car afterwards. Its no cut and pasting a tune and a couple WOT dyno pulls and your tune is done in 20 minutes.

Its a several hour process to calibrate a vehicle

Once again, reputable shops chiming in. Just glad to be among them. We have VVT camshafts, and parts needed in stock, ready to install

I'll always remember my 2 hour lesson over the phone on the methanol injection system I wanted on my car and how it was going to work - patience of a saint that Matt guy haha!

Awesome shop for sure and you wouldn't be disappointed going to FSP - I know I wasn't

easily one of the best tuners in the LSX community and has always been there when ive needed him. We have spent countless hours at all times of the night dialing in my 1kwp car and is always there at a moments notice.

I would have honestly demodded my car if it wasnt for him.
