2010 Camaro PCM Pin-out Description and Wire Colors (LS3 & L99)

I don't know if this has been posted or not but this is the PCM pin-out for the L99 and LS3. There are two connectors on the PCM, X1 and X2. X1 is a 73-way connector while X2 is an 80-way.

X1 pinout (73 way):

None of this is even remotely close to what I am seeing on my PCM....
I have a gray connector and a black connector on the PCM.. which one is X1 and Which one is X2?

I know this is an old post but wanted to clear up a few things.

***Pin #20 is a fuel injector wire and should not be used.***
(It MAY cause intermittent flashing due to the fuel injector erratic signal. )

The tried and true method is to use any coil signal (we recommend pin #75 on the X2 (gray connector) for the rpm signal). This is a dark green wire in this position.

We also recommend pin #71 on the X1 Connector (black connector) for the Vehicle Speed Signal (Vss). This is a gray wire with black stripe.

The dual mode has the ability to set for high sensitivity sensing since the signal is weak from the PCM.

The single mode has to be programmed before shipping for high sensitivity mode since there are no buttons to change it once a customer gets it.

PCM located on passenger side in engine bay.

"X1" (black) is toward the front of the vehicle on the PCM.
"X2" (gray) is toward the rear of the vehicle on the PCM.
You can only see the colors (blk and gray) once the connectors are disconnected.

Not trying to spam, just wanted to get the correct info out there.
Our website has pictures and detailed info for reference.

So on the X1 plug, which number wire is for the 02 sensor signal wire? and is for left or right?

And on the X2 plug, which one is the signal wire for the O2 sensor on that one, and is the left or right?

I am trying to hook up narrow band gauges to monitor exhaust AFR's for a shot of juice. It would be easier for me to use the narrow band gauges I already have. I need to wire a positive and negative connection to the fuse box area and if I could find the signal wires for the O2 sensors for each side, I would be set.

Thanks in advance.....

Yes thank you, but which one do I use for the main signal wire on each side? (I only need one per side, one for each gauge).

I have no clue. I just copied the stuff from the service manual. If it were me, I'd use a wideband. I am sure someone out there knows how to do it. Have you checked over on LS1 te ch to see how people have done it with a narrow band?

I just did a quick search and read a narrow band will only tell you whether you are lean, rich, or at stoich. A wideband will give you numbers to work with. Based on that, I'd definitely go wideband. A wideband is cheaper than a new engine. Also, with a wideband, you can further use it to shut the n2o down if the reading go outside parameters you set.
