I agree
getting Dovetail spoiler. I have heard it uses the same holes.
New ones are needed on the sides though.

i like the stock ss spoiler, its just nice to have the choice to get something different and not have to risk ruining something to have what you want. i initially wanted the high wing, but i found out that it wont fit in the stock spoiler holes. so that was off my list. i dont want to have to dril and puddy old holes. im still thinking of going with the dove tail.

But, on the surface this makes sense.

I'm for it. I may merge this with an existing thread once I find it.
I definitely would delete the spoiler on the 1SS order if it was an option..

imho, having the wing spoiler option will make some of the potential buyers happier than the blade spoiler. I've had a 94 camaro, and a 91, and i prefer the wing... but i really like the 98 SS spoiler.

Just ordered my car 2 days ago, I would like to get the ground affects, but I just can't deal with that high wing spoiler. All of this is put on at the dealer after the car gets here, what if you go there when they are working on it, and tell them not to put in on, and leave the SS spoiler alone ???

the stock spoiler is put on at the assembly plant, so you can't just ask the dealer to not install it. also, the high wing ain't part of the GFX package.

Hi Zebra, I think you misunderstood, I want the SS spoiler, and I want the ground affects package. When I was at the dealer 2 days ago, he told me if I want the ground affects, I have to take the high wing spoiler too. I was also told that this ground affects package is put on by the dealer, do you think the salesman is wrong? Thanks Mike

Every GM has RPO delete codes for spoilers, Onstar and a few other things.

Why dont we see RPO delete codes for the Camaro? Some of us would like to order a Camaro SS without a spoiler or the Onstar fin BS on the roof.
