Sounds like you were good to go already.

Does anyone think I need it?
Doesnt sound like it but I've said all along to time it. Video tape the IP or use an accelerometer and time it 0-60mph. That will tell you.

Should. Your car should have pulled timing during the tank of low grade. Unless you never got on the gas hard.

Definitely can't hurt...
My fuses are pulled now and I plan to plug 'em back in tomorrow...
I'll report back w/results!
Should have timed it first. But you'll know if it's beneficial.

I am scared to try the fuse pull, however doing this to my CAI(Cold Air Induction) intake, replacing the restrictive CAI cone and putting this AFE 2007 Mustang GT 4.6l 3v intake filter on the CAI tube made a great difference. Engine revs and accels like a 4 valve per cylinder engine. Now no more complaints from me about performance. I also noticed that keeping my lid off the CAI allows the air flow from under the window washer fluid bottle to flow freely upwards. Is there any danger in doing the fuse pull. My CAMARO pulls hard is hell since I put the AFE filter on there.

What's to be afraid of ??? If you've never put in low octane gas, and are 100% certain the dealership didn't either then no need to do it. If there's any chance that your Camaro has ever had low octane gas in it, the you need to do the fuse pull to get the most out of your car. There is nothing to be scared of.

There is much more danger in installing a CAI.

Sounds like you may not need it. Go time your car. Get a video camera, video your speedometer and you accelerate from a standstill. Put it on the computer and time it to see how long it takes you to hit 60 mph. You can cut the video at both ends to get as acurate of a time as you need. If you're down around 5 second-ish then you're probably fine. If you get a ton of wheel spin making it hard to get an acurate run, then you're probably fine.

If you're around 6 seconds-ish then you need a fuse pull. Check out my vids linked in the OP of this thread. It makes a huge difference.

So i'm assuming if i'm HPTuned and my low octane / high octane spark tables are the same. I don't need to do this ever?

That is correct. If you're sure all your tables are the same, then you won't have a problem. Of course, you better not put low grade in it.

Again?

Ok, went back and looked. Ya, try it but if you can, time it first.

Fyi, did nothing for my ls3 till I pulled the negative cable at the same time. Fixed it after that, I was about to take it in for service.

Actually the gas attendant put 87 octane in my car last Friday by mistake 1 gallon only, I had to return my car to stock tune after that.

I always watch what button they hit when I am in NJ.. I usually still try to pump my own gas in NJ eventhough you are not allowed

It's weird to hear that. Since the schematics are nearly identical. Should be just the fuses but we've had enough people swear by it. Must have to do with the transmision wiring. With the TCU in line somewhere.

And I swear it shifts smoother too. I don't even care why it worked, just happy it did. I wonder if there is a fuse I could pull to have the radio stop playing nickleback...
