Clear Bra Installed *Pics* - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I know there have been a lot of complaints about the chipping on our Camaro's so I figured I would post of some pictures of my solution. I took these pictures a couple of weeks ago but forgot about them.

I put a lot of miles on my vehicle so having the protection of a clear bra is a life saver. Its not for everyone "garage queens" but for those of us that put the miles on or just want to protect from chips when you do drive it then this is the way to go.

After alot of research I was up in the air on VentureShield and Nano-Fusion. I decided to go with the Nano-Fusion because of all of the incredible reviews I read on the professional clear bra installer forums. It is a newer film and the stuff is amazing. The Nano-Fusion is a bit more than the VentureShield but not enough to really make a difference.

I put the clear bra on the following

Front Bumper
Mirrors
Gills
Behind Rear Wheels
A-Pillars,
12" of the roof line.

My biggest recommendation is to get it done ASAP. Little to no prior chips will give the best results.

Here are the pictures so that you can all get an idea of what it will look like. I couldn't be happier and the piece of mind when I am driving is worth every penny

How much did it cost you?

Oh, any by any chance, do you know what I should do if I putl clear bra on my car and want to polish/wax my car?

You can wax right over it...but unless you have a white car like the OP, you will see white wax powder build up all along the edges of the clear bra....unless you use ZAINO, which dries clear. I'm not sure if any other wax product dries clear.

If you look right along the front edge of the mail slot, you will see it. But that is an excellent instal.

Last time I priced it, it was in the range of $1500 which is out of my range.

I paid $250.00 and put it on myself, it can be a pain but it turned out ok.
It covers the total front fascia of the car, I’ve had it on for just about 2 years now and it’s still holding up good.

My Nano Fusion installed by www.carpretty.net was $795 for fascia, front 1/3 of the hood and mirrors.

Prices vary depending on how much film you want and how good the installer is. Type of film impacts the price as well. $1500 should get you a full hood, full fenders, bumper, lights, gills and mirrors. Thats a pretty fair price for that type of coverage. A standard install (partial hood, partial fenders, bumper, lights, and mirrors) should be anywhere from $700-850 depending on the installer and film used.

Hey so if a rock or something hits the front end does it leave a mark on the clear bra? Also bugs, etc easy to clean off? Thanks in advance!

Looks great (from the pics). My VentureShield clear bra on my SW is fine.....except for the dirt that built up around the edges of some pieces. Drive me batty and I can't seem to clean it off.
