These headers not only have great ground clearance...they were also designed around the new electronic steering system which has a different knuckle....this means zero clearance issues across the board for everyone! The HP numbers have been great too

I have Doug Thorley tri-ys 1 7/8" and they rub the steering shaft on hard turns. I love their sound too much to go with another set...but if your headers have a similar sound and great numbers for the L99, I might switch them out!

So will these bolt up to the stock cats?... I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on a set of SOLO hi-flow cats (which fit the stock manifold) + full catback with j-pipes and plan on doing headers next. I'd hate to spend the money and find out I'm gonna have to turn around and replace the cats again in a year.

No, these come with HF cats. So forget the solos.

You can not use stock cats with long tube headers. You will also not be able to turn around and use the Solos with long tubes later. It is a totally different set up. Hold out on the cats and get them with your headers.

Exactly! I had Solos with my shorties and had to sell them when I went LT's. I just bought the cats that go with the LT's and it bolted right up to my catback!

Great photo. People don't usually think to get one from the backside.
