Have any 2013 owners made the swap yet? Seeing the new 2014's, the only thing that's killing me about them is the badass recaro seat option. I would love to have them in my 2013. Does GM offer these seats in their performance catalogue?

I ran a poll this year to do a group buy. Maureen at Rodgers said they aren't yet available. Maybe this has changed. Anyone know?

They are not available.

When they do become available they'll be priced like the zl1 hood insert....rediculously over priced.

Everybody wants them. I don't think a decision has even been made to offer them.
No doubt expensive if they do make them available. Price a 1LE rim from GM and have a heart attack, the seats will be no different.

Same conversation same status over with the ZL1 boyz. They want them, not available and gonna be expensive if they are.

I thought those seats only are sold with the cars?

If you check Racaros website they list all the OEM seats they supply for all makes and models. Camaro is not listed yet.

I pulled a VIN from a 14 1LE with the Recaro seats and I believe the PN for the driver seat is 23120244 and the passenger is 23120252. The GM catalog doesnt really have a detailed description other than "suede" next to the color. the RPO codes dont even specify if its Recaro or cloth.

The frontpage article about the Recaros states that they only sell seats "with cars".

There should still be a PN with the seats for warranty/crash purposes.

$2000 is the option price when ordering a new 1LE. That sounds cheap when I did a search for Recaros. They all seem to be in the 2-3k range.
