underside of rocker nasties

Yeah...road kill, tar, ddrag strip stuff...I don't know what it was. It was on the bottom of the rockers on my car...couldn't see it from the side, but it bugged me. I tried everything to get it off except clay. I was getting the clay bar out and I grabbed the bottle of meguiars scratch x. LOL...bam, gone. I know that stuff will mar a finish but on the underside of a rocker on a light colored car...so what. It'll buff out. LOL.
Just wanted to share. ScratchX did what detailer, solvents, wd40, alcohol...wouldn't do.

In the future, try orange gel hand cleaner, people have had good results with that.

Did you try an APC or something like Stoner's Tarminator? I would more so be weary of going straight to scratch x before clay and products because that way you're removing debris that could scratch up your paint before you buff.
