machined aluminum vs brake dust?

I'm probably going to buy the 21" silver wheels package that was optional with the camaro and was wondering how the machined aluminum wheels fare against brake dust. Right now I got the cheapest painted aluminum wheels and the dust is a nightmare to get off. If I did get 21" wheels, would the machined aluminum be good enough or would a chrome plating be better for the dust?

I was talking to a c6 z06 owner at the track and said he can just quickly wipe the dust off with a rag but the z06 rims are chrome I think
