how much did you pay for your v6???

hey guys/gals i was wondering how much did you pay for your v6??? i went to the dealer ships yesterday and i was looking at the v6 camaros. the price tags on those bad boys was pretty high to me. the price range on the v6 was 29k to 33k. to me if you are going to pay that much wouldnt it be better to get an ss? they had couple ss from 31k to 37k. i see why v8s are out selling v6s lol its around the same price and you get way more hp. i was talking to a salse person and he told me if i get a v6 bone stock im looking around 23 to 24k. i will not pay over 27k for a v6. what option would you do?

1) get a bone stock v6 camaro/ fix it up down the line

2) save lil more to get an ss

3) wait to see what gm has done to the 2011 v6 camaro

I know that some dealers here is SoCal are marking up camaros a considerable amount, so a lot depends on your location and what kind of deals they have.

Youre comparing a fully loaded V6 (mine was 29,xxx with GM discount) to a bare bones SS. What do you want? Do you wanna go really fast and have no gadgets etc, or do you want the cutting edge tech and still go pretty damn fast?

Your comment about being the same price is unfair. Do a little research. Decide what you want, the comforts or the accelaration...not speed, they both go 155

I paid 23,400 for 2010 1LS automatic, totally happy with this car. Same performance as any other v6 1LT or 2LT.

lol i was trying to find a v6 camaro like yours but no one had one yours looks pretty good by the way. i just wanted to get a feel what you guys were paying for the v6s so if i do get a v6 i dont get rip off. its just im in a car club and i do have one of the slowest cars lol. we have a g8 gt with a lot of mods, ls1 with over 400 hp, 9 sec gn, and the list goes on. we do a lot of car shows and i see how all the v8 guys get all the attention. but like u guys say do some more research and think it out a bit more. thanks for your info guys

Got our 1LT Automatic with black Rally Stripes for $26,200 AFTER Tax, Title and License fees...
Those V6s you looked out must have been 2LTs with more options, including the RS package, Like someone else has said, You COULD Get an SS for around $31K, but you are going to have something similar in acessories to a $23K LS...and not many option choices...To get an SS equipped like one of the $33K 2LTs you would have to go up to a 2SS and add some options and then you are looking at around $38K-$40K...
