Yea, I had a battery go bad after only two years in my car. Factory battery. Had to change it. Sometimes it happens. Worth trying.

That type of symptom is a grounding, or loose connection issue.
Check the connection on the relay box that connects to the starter relay it might be loose.

Remove the starter and clean the mounting area on the engine block where the starter mounts. Clean the open end of the started housing. Remount the starter. Try to start. If problem persist, clean both ends of all ground cables and straps. I had the same problem on my superduty.
