Did you remove the pins from all the calipers?

Sorry have no clue about v6 brakes. the pins are all the same on mine. Try asking in the v6 bolt on forum you might get a answer or two before the mods move the thread here

I looked at my online GM service and parts sources and they do not say
V6s have the Bosch formerly Bendix style brakes so maybe this helps. the medium duty truck hydraulic brakes versions use a similar metal/plastic slide pin setup IIRC to prevent seizing and chattering, look at pages 10 and 11. http://www.weindex.info/pdf/Brake/2.pdf

We're you able to find a DIY with the answer? I know the DIY Index sticky has four or five threads on swapping brakes.

It broke down all the parts real nice , The way they should be installed in great detail. Thanks for your suggestions and the time you took it is appreciated. I got the Baer drilled and slotted rotors on , with the EBC yellowstuff pads , and goodrich stainless on , Tomorrow I bled it out with Mogel dot 4 and I should be all set !! |
