Quick question about Challengers

Were there any iterations of thechallengers that came with a single exhaust exit? I came across a SRT8 yesterday that only had a single exhaust exit and started to wonder if it was just a mod they did or if they were just slapping a badge on a v6(I'm still not even sure if I have seen any v6s with a single exhaust exit). Unfortunately it was parked so I didnt get to hear the exhaust at all.

All SRT models have dual exhaust, and I don't know of anyone who makes a single exhaust mod for them.

Didn't they at one point have a "trim" called SRTdesign that was just an apperence option?

That was for the Neon, it added an SRT style front bumper and so on.

Not for the new model years. Certain models had the "SRTdesign" that you speak of. Neon and the 300s to my knowledge.

Oh I see. I don't follow Chrysler all too closely. I just recall seeing that on a few cars in the past.

Ive personally seen a 300 SRT badge looks mostly the same just doesn't have SRT-8. Nice interior n such. but a 6 banger.

It's the SRTdesign emblem.

The SRT desogn on the 300 did NOT come with the V6. It was the 300C with SRT style wheels, fascias, and seats. It also had the PCM tuning, suspension, and intake from the Charger R/T Daytona/Road and Track models.
