What Camaro can I get for $10,000
I have about $10,000
I usually buy cars 8-10yr old, over 100,000miles for around $4000 and drive it until too many things start breaking and it becomes a money pit. I'm pretty handy and I can fix most things that typically break down other than the engine or transmission. I'm into aggressive looking cars, I currently drive a base model Mitsubishi 3000gt and a 2010+ Camaro SS looks like a monster. I prefer fully stock no tuneing, just drive and go cars I don't race and it is near impossible to drive fast in NYC with the new laws and Cameras and the Clone Wars Traffic Cops EVERYWHERE. Radar and dash cam and Waze App on all the time Just learned how to drive stick, in my area you have to shift like 4 times per 1000ft and theres a lot of traffic here in NYC. So Manual or Automatic? Houses are pretty close together so loud cars can be an issue but I think stock Camaros purr very elegantly. Please be nice if that's not enough money for a 5 year old vehicle I can understand that. |

I am sure if you searched around a 1SS could be bought for between $15-20 thousand. That is assuming a car payment is a consideration. Plus you should factor insurance, and gas (even higher prices). On EBay alone there are plenty to choose from. Welcome to the forum and good luck with your decision.

Hmm, seems v6 manual model would be closer to my price range and I might have to put some aggressive wheel package on it to get the look

You might... might, find a 2010 1LS (base model V6, 18" steel wheels, very basic) with high miles for close to $10K. Good luck.

OP, not trying to be funny but did an Autotrader search.. Zip 10001 and 100 miles around. This is the only Gen 5 Camaro in your price range (topped out at $11k)
Good luck with your search but I think this one will be tough. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...27877278&Log=0 UPDATE - there are about 3 to choose from but over 1000 miles from your location, so it can be done just you need to travel a bunch to get it. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...23231489&Log=0 |

OP, the 5th gens are probably not old enough yet to have a huge number of them at or under $10,000. By example, here's one, that's not wrecked or not flooded, from Cars.com near my area:
https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...8188/overview/ It's still about $13,000 though. |
