okay so i bought my camaro used and i’m guessing a previous owner tampered with the limiter it says “speed limited to 75 mph”. how can i reset this to stock?

Speed limiter in the ECU, or speed warning in the DIC?

one is programmed into the ECU and prevents the car from going faster than that period, no iff's and's or but's.

the other merely beeps when you pass the speed indicated.

it is limited so it will not go over the set speed

Was it a former rental car? Maybe the rental agency had the speed limiter set. I just read where some rental agencies are doing that.

I just checked the manual and there is only info about the Speed Warning, nothing about setting a limiter or any message on the DIC about “speed limited to 75mph”.

If it truly is limited, and not just the warning on the dashboard, I would give your local dealership a call and see if they can do a flash for you.

Otherwise, I would just get a proper tune from a vendor on here.
