2015 V6 w/ manual trans issue

I have a 2015 1LT with a manual transmission with ~20,000 miles and I'm having issue with the transmission. in neutral, there is a distinct irregular, rattling noise coming from the transmission (video to follow). I brought it to the dealership 3 times about this and the first time they discovered the throw out bearing was bad and the clutch was destroyed, mechanic said he never saw one so badly mangled. Replaced all bad parts but I still have the rattling sound. Dealership said it is normal for my car to have that sound in neutral but I don't buy it, I've never had a car make that noise before and it didn't make that noise when I bought it. Anyone have this issue before or have any idea what it could be? Thanks!

Video link. The noise stops when the clutch is engaged.

Also was told by the dealership that my Trans runs differential fluid in it, does that sound right? I always thought that would be too thin for a transmission.

That sound isn't normal. I'd try taking the car to a different dealership or a reliable independent shop. Sounds like it might be a worn bearing though.

Thanks, I'll take it to another dealership. I'd rather an independent shop but it's still under warranty.

Let us know if the dealer comes up with anything! Might be helpful to other forum members who experience the same problem.

Will do. The car is with the mechanic right now. Suspects it might be a worn bearing somewhere in or near the transmission.

I picked up my car from the dealership and they told me that noise is normal for a 2015 V6 with an M6 trans. They stated the noise is not as loud as another 2015 with 32,000 miles. I still don't think this is right but I am curious if there are any other 2015 V6 M6 folks on this board who can confirm or deny that their car makes the same or similar noise. Thanks.

My 2013 doesn't sound like this in Neutral.

Yes. The trans and diff both run 75w-90. I've swapped both out for Mobil 1 75w-90. Super easy to do on these cars.
