4l80E controller

Has any one switched to a 4l80? trans is almost done looking for what controller anyone has used looking at fast right now they all have hand held controllers was wondering if any of them are compatable with HP tuners? Thanks Tommy

I used the quick 4 by U.S. shift.

Trouble free once u set it up. It's really tailored to accommodate different driving styles. It also has adaptive learning which is really cool, plus the 5 yr warranty!

my car is in the shop right now going with a 4L80E swap by my local performance shop and they bought the kit from RPM tranmission. I think they use either MSD Atomic controllers or the PCS 2800.

Watching what shifters you guys are going with. I went with stock 5th gen for now.

I used the stock 6l80 for our cars. Bolts right in and I changed the knob to a drake aluminum ball.

Sweet so that is what I am doing minus the drake aluminum ball. I didn’t realize we could change the knob.

Ya there's a small screw in the front of the knob that allows you to remove it

when I had the 4l80 I originally used the tci ez tcu and hated it. had no control at all. switched to the pcs 2000 and it was hands down the best trans controller I've used to date. software was easy to navigate and their data logging is awesome.
