If you turn the headlight knob to turn on your halos then your parking lights are on - and your headlights will not turn on automatically once it gets night out. You'd have to either turn the knob back to automatic or turn it once more to the right to turn your headlights on.

Wrong...I've been doing this for 4 years now driving with my halos on(one click to the right) & when it gets dark the DRLs turn Off & the HID comes on. I never use the Auto & the Headlight switch(2 clicks)...

Hey Stig, I believe the US cars are different then the Canadian cars, at least the early build cars like Rick's and Mine are.

Rick is correct.....even though he is from Quebec j/k buddy!
I still love my halo light mod!

Received the harness yesterday. I went to install it but I'm stumped where to put the wire between each headlight. It looks like there may be a spot in front of the radiator but it was too hot to really check. Wondering where others put it?

If this is the harness you bought http://www.gen5diy.com/PnP_harnesses...ness#container
Pull back the passenger side wheel well liner. You will find a connector for your lights. This is the one that has to be undone when you remove your front fascia. This is the only connector there is. Unplug it and plug this unit in between. Then put the wheel liner back.

I meant the wire between the passenger side headlight and the drivers side headlight. 2SSRS already pm'd me a solution about removing the top mounts of the radiator to find a channel to tuck it in. Thanks 2SSRS and everyone!
