I took it to my mother-in- law & one similar, to my mother's grave. I think my rose looks as good as the ones we bought. I had to cut it off some so the vase did not topple over.

This weekend was gone in an instant! Spent almost 12 hours Saturday cleaning the first floor of the house. I was amazed at how far dust from the remodeling has traveled in the house. The workers are certainly not sloppy, but it guess they can't contain everything. At the end of the day, I only needed 3 Motrins and a hot shower. And the place looks great. Upstairs does not need a full scale cleaning blitz.

Washed Claire's car and my son's car today. His was still filthy from last weekend. Then my sister and I chatted on the phone for 2 hours. Our mom passed away 5 years ago. Afterwards, I did some grocery shopping. Grocery stores are not laid out like I think. . But I found 99% of what was on the list. Can't believe they were out of Mike's Hard Lemonaid.

Claire is still experiencing on and off pain. She has her first check up with the surgeon on Tuesday. Half day off for me!

I got to sleep in this morning. Mike & I are off to take my dad to the eye doctor. It seems odd that it takes both of us to have an entire day off just to take my dad for an eye check-up. But it really takes a team to handle him & by the time we drive to Clarksville to get him, then to Nashville for the appointment then take him back to Clarksville, the day is pretty much shot. We will take him to get some ice cream too. He loves ice cream. It will be nice to get him out. It is supposed to get up to about 90 degrees today so it will be a nice day to be out & about too. HAGD all.

Lots of running around this week for me. I had to get a hair cut and I have a dentist appt on Wed. I also need to get some parts to finish opening the pool and I need to get the trailer ready for a weekend camping trip. Oh I almost forgot I will also need to pack for my business trip to Utah next week which is the main reason I am trying to get everything done this week.

Hope everyone's day went well. I was finally able to exercise this morning, but I'll have to skip it tomorrow. And after dinner, I had to seal the new grout in the bathroom. Finished about 7:30 PM. Might have to apply a second coat.

Last night I assembled my Camaro engine cover trim piece and was hoping to install it today. Guess I will try another night.
