I ordered the emblem on eBay then cut the black vinyl out myself and laid it down first. then I applied the SS 6.2L emblem over the top. I've had a ton of complements because it's something different that nobody else has seen. I might try it again with some black hood spears and see how that looks when I get tired of looking at this.

ok....I Got my mind running for a minute here

Is anyone good at photoshop, if so i want to see what these stripes below would look like on an IOM with Gloss black stripes.

My thoughts are running these stripes on the hood all the way down over the front ground effects....nothing on the roof and only putting them on the trunk and wrap over the spoiler.

But im not sure how it would look on an orange car.

Guess I have'nt thrown a few pics up of my stripes here in this thread so I guess I will now.
They are House of Kolor Tangerine Pearl over a black base than complete hood and trunk lid were cleared and buffed to match clear on rest of car.
Some like them,some hate them but I like them because they are alittle different than the norm.

Whte Bumblebee style by Ridergraphix on IOM.

I only have the hood done at the moment; the car is getting painted due to the spoiler chipping. After the paint cures, I'll have the trunk/spoiler stripes installed. Also, my car has an MPD-1 spoiler so we'll see how it looks.

Ordered my stripes today. Going with white on top of my IBM base. Nothing that you couldnt get from the factory, but I love the way it looks. Will post pictures when it is finished.

Some pics of my new custom stripes with ghost flames. The pics don't quite do them justice but whatever. They are black stripes with violet pearl on top. The flames are shades of violet and rose; the rose tips sparkle awesomely in the sunlight.

guessing we both got the same cars. i went the same route and got white OEM stripes. check one of my threads if u wanna see how it looks

Been meaning to jump on here for awhile...

Can't express enough how INCREDIBLE painted stripes look vs vinyl... no offense to those with... just really is a night and day difference! Costs about an extra $200-$300 for a second finish, to get them resanded, recleared and rebuffed- but MAN ITS WORTH IT!!!! No ridges, no edges... just smooth and shiny as glass!
