True but the first gen of a refresh, especially a new trans will always have issues to work out.

Its been an issue since its introduction in the C7 (same trans and motor) prior to the Gen 6 Camaro & it still is. On the plus side they are dumping it for the A10 for 2019....

Yikes. I was looking forward to this as I wanted to purchase one, but I completely hate it. I don't know what they're thinking with this

It's disappointing that for 2019 the RS trim will be available on the Malibu too.

How guys are arguing the 2019 doesn't look like a Honda, Kia, Camry, Challenger....

The funny thing is, they supposedly paid a design team to come up with this.

I think all the auto manufacturers are employing the same design team, they come up with one design, put an H on the front for Honda, or a Bow tie for Chevrolet and call it good.
No need for many cars at a auto show.
We can just have 1 car there representing all the manufacturers. Cheaper that way.
Then everyone keeps the same market share, right?

I think their problem is more with the huge decline in demand in the sedan segment with everyone switching to crossover/SUV's. They are down big across the board

Right... meanwhile Camry sales are up and killing Accord sales. Those evil SUV's don't seem to be hurting them.

Hmmm... that trend shows it going up... and really since it's redesign hitting dealers lots in October, it's been trending up.

2018 Jan Camry sales 24,638
2018 Feb Camry sales 30,865
2018 Mar Camry sales 35,264
