Stock rocker bearing upgrade or aftermarket Rocker?

I will be doing a cam soon and was wondering if I should do the stock rocker bearing upgrade or just replace with a set of comp rockers? I know there is a decent price difference but it would be easier to just replace instead of doing 16 rockers.

The stock rocker arms with the trunnion upgrade will work fine. They are strong, light weight and will run over 7,000 rpm all day long.

the upgrade is easy, takes about 2 hrs and a shop press or now comp cams sells plates so you can use a workbench vise. com cams has a good 4 min video that shows the install

My builder said the problem with the rockers was on the early 2007 ls7 motors and that I do not need to upgrade my trunions. So I have to trust him, after all he is the electrical engineer ase certified business owner with a dyno and rep. He also told me to go with a ls2 dampener for the timing chain and 7.425 rods. I know cheap insurance right well a lot of people put on a new oil pump when the stock pump is also a melling, and a new timing chain when the stock is a roller chain also....two things I will change over time not at the same time as the cam...when they have more wear and I want to check the springs. Anyway that's also the recommendation of my mechanic if I really want it done I would have to spend Like $500 more to have them drop the sub frame under the engine, drop the pan, reinstall etc.... I think to discourage the doing the unneeded... And he is primarily for corvettes .

There's been a few L76, LS3 and L99 engines spit bearings out of the rockers. Its insurance and also the design of the factory fulcrum can handle only so much lift.
