JD Power is all that Chevy cares about. They'll notice how bad their commercials are eventually...hopefully.

Ok so I reject your reality. An Italian company should not be permitted to close with "Domestic not domesticated". It's a freaking Italian car made in Canada and we get a "why couldn't GM do this" post.

To be fair the George Washington commercial was before Fiat took ownership of Dodge,
And Camaro's were built in Canada back then too even though they were still considered an American brand. Non of which has anything to do with the fact that Dodge made a great commercial and has an exceptional marking and design departments to keep it's 05 chassis design relevant in 2018.

The 67 Camaro was built in Canada and America. Still an American car.

I get that. But I feel like I'm the only one bothered by that Fiat tag lune. It would be immediate BS if they did it with Alpha Romeo or Fiat brands. But Dodge and no one questions it.

I don't remember the last time I saw a commercial for the Camaro on TV. I subscribe to all the major automotive mags, and never seen an ad for the Camaro either. Even in those copies where the car is praised. Meanwhile for a span of 6 months the Mustang ad was on the first two pages of EVERY ONE of these mags. I'm not a marketing specialist, but pretty sure that isn't helping sales.

Well, I completely get what you are driving at, but after all Dodge is still condsidered an American brand based in Aulburn Hills. Budwieser is Belgium owned ,and they still wrap much of their marketing in the stars and stripes. Welcome to 2018.

I dont like any of it, but that is a completely different conversation we arent allowed to have here because its impossible to have without getting political.

I have never met anyone that bought a car because of a commercial. I'm sure people do. I sure as hell wouldn't. I guess it's cool to drive down the street and see 20 identical cars before I go 5 miles. GM please don't advertise the Camaro. Keep it how it is.

Commercials increase brand awareness and get people into showrooms. A commercial for a Hellcat will get people to dealerships to look at Dodge products, and then potentially leave with a Challenger V6.
