Hey guys, like I have mentioned last week one of our members Louis (wildpony61) is setting up a BBQ at his location in Las Cruces on Saturday July 23rd at 2pm. We will also be doing a cruise after the BBQ, destination will be announced later or on the day of BBQ. So what we need is people who are wishing to join and those who will be bringing food, this is a pot luck and it would be great if everybody could pick an item from the list provided below to bring to the BBQ. If you have any questions please post or PM us and we'll try to answer to our best ability.

Yeah thats where we post most of our random jibberish but when there is an event occurring we do post it on the NM/Southwest forum but we don't get much response in here so we keep it in the EP/Texas forum. About the food we would like someone if they can bring some ribs, we're not saying to bring ribs for everybody but what we might do is have three members go in on the ribs so one person doesn't have fork all that cash.

We could provide some ribs. Are you wanting them raw or for us to cook them? I don't have a grill or smoker. We left that back in Indiana with Shellie's son. We have that on our list of things to get as soon as some money frees up!

El Paso/Las Cruces C5 Chapter BBQ

Hey there everybody, sorry about the late response but I was in the Dirty Querque as my good buddy calls it this weekend for a heavy metal show. So, back to business. Yes the BBQ is still on for this weekend on the 23rd and it will begin at 2pm at Louis' (wildpony61) house located on 1219 Turkey Knob Dr., Las Cruces, NM. The general area where his house is is close by the Telshor 12 Cinemas off of Del Rey just to give you an idea. It is BYOB so let's have some fun but remember as the Fbodfather would say (please drink responsibly and don't drink and drive). We do plan on having a cruise to a destination yet to be determined so let's have a little suggestion poll and majority wins or until one beats up the other Joker Dark Knight style, I know, I'm a geek . So if you have any suggestions please share and we'll all decide. Now as you can see below is pretty much the final list of items needed for the cookout and if you are planning on joining and you see someone that is double dutying on food please help and offer to take over one of the items that someone has. It's only fair that everyone at least brings something(s) of equal value from everything else. For those of you that are coming from El Paso or Alamogordo that are not quite familiar with the Las Cruces area I can meet you all at a spot and then you can follow me to Louis' pad if you wish.
