Newbie - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hi there

I've just wanted to introduce me, I'm a newbie here . I've been reading this forum for a while, looking for advices and informations about the "new dog from hell" Chevy-Camaro 2008. I'm a frenchy ( near Marseilles for those who may know). I owned already a 1995 V6 Firebird for a while, with which I had a lot of fun , even if I think a V8 would've been much better on this one.
So I plan to buy a silver Camaro V8 coupe in the first semester 2009. I'm not really hurry, good deal may appear thereafter. I'm ready to put around 30000 dollars ont he table to get one.

Welcome to the forum, I didn't even know the camaro was going to be available in Europe that soon.

I used to not feel that much of a need for a V8 either... until i bought one. Now I hope to never go back to anything less....

Yep, the V8 is the king of all engines IMO. The V10 and anything higher is too overbearing...

Now I hope to never go back to anything less.... __________________ 2001 Corvette Heads,Big cam, 4:11, Custom Exhaust, MGW Shifter Baer Eradispeed +2 2 pieces rotors, Hotchkiss swaybars. and a few other little things. 1998 Trans Am A4 ( was STS turbo until the turbo and oil pump died) 2000 WS6 Trans AM under the knife ( sadly turned into long term project.
