There is a strong possibility it will work as it definitely fits the 6L90E and the LT1 is narrower than the LS engine.

How bad is the install for this? Is it doable with home garage tools, or do things need to be lowered and raised to get at it? Great idea, would love to do this if it is just a matter of snaking it through and mounting on. Thx!

If you have not seen these check them out they are a great addition to any build.

We found they also fit the G8 and Impala and expect they will fit many more models.

When check the fluid level is it like the old days ? Warm transmission and car in park and running?

We have not and it is not likely possible without a stand alone trans controller which currently does not exist.
