I have a Taco DBLC SB for winter, so I dont NEED the car at all. I was just curious what others did when they put them away for the long winters nap. It will not be driven in winter. I hear all of you, but nope. Thanks for sharing everyone.

I keep it fairly simple.

Fill the tank up with fresh fuel. I never use those "fuel treatments". Clean the car thoroughly inside/out top to bottom. Change oil and filter (if needed). Basically give the car a good looking over then I throw it on the quick jacks cover it up and done. I go out once a month or so and throw the battery tender on. Then for the next 5 or 6 months I sit back and regret not driving it more than I did.👌

My early '10 SS is over 12 years old and still looks like new. Drive and enjoy, It's not a collector car.

it fits well and doesn't move around. it is from my 2011, it was black. no scratches at all

Awesome, thanks. That’s not a terrible price for GM.

I make sure to clean it up well, wipe down all rubber weatherstrips, take one last long ride to burn off any condensation, top off the fuel (not stabilizer) and put a trickle charger on it.

It sits on a 4 post hoist so i am not concerned about critters. TIres are a little flat spotted on 1st drive but it goes away.

2013 camaro and no rust underneath. 2015 Malibu winter car had rust in several areas underneath by year 3.

All of the above except no hoist. Sits on the cement with tires around 38 lbs. Don’t recall feeling flat spots in the spring.

I've been storing my 2010 SS for 6 months every winter, and I keep it simple.

Fresh fuel with Sta-bil.
An oil change shortly before storage.
Tires inflated to 40 psi.
Battery tender.
No food anywhere in the garage or car.
Mouse bait and mouse traps in the garage.

You do not need to put the car on jack stands. Your tires will not get flat spots, and your suspension is not designed to hang down for 6 months either.
Exactly the same for mine however I still start it and let it get warm once a week when it gets down to freezing temps just to circulate the oil. I have mine parked in an unheated garage.

You'd be amazed how much more responsive your car is when it's gulping down air that is much cooler compared to a hot sunny day. Sure, no traction but man it runs so much better!
