any regrets with a blower?

I'm looking at doing the magnuson. Just wondering, does anyone have regrets from the fact of losing drivability?

I'm guessing the only regrets you'll see have to do with not doing it soon enough. Drivability won't be lost. Tire tread maybe......

The only downside, imho, is it isn't cheap. I worked a lot of overtime to save up for mine. I have ordered it and it will be installed in a couple of weeks.

Do you think you will be running in the 10s with nitrous? Or maybe I should say for very long?

Unless its a 200 shot on a forged block tens won't be sniffed. To the OP, I just drove my maggied car from CT down to Atlantic City to Washington DC and back to CT through NYC. It was 100 degrees with stop and go traffic and well over 900 miles. The car was flawless and got 23.5 mpg. And thats with a 2800 stall. There is no loss of driveability. Install and enjoy!!

One reason I chose to go with the Maggie is because there have been so many installed without issues. Reliability and driveability are important to me.

Can't you get some sort of warranty through Magnusson? I'm seriously looking at one myself. As a street driven car that's not going to see serious track use, I can't see the engine grenading. At least I hope not!!!

If the maggie is the only thing bolted to your car I beleive that you can PURCHASE a warranty but if you even add a cold air the warranty will be void.

Cheif, I have to agree. Most of the s/c cars here are pretty dissapointing. I bet more are in the high 11's and low 12's than any other group. I have nitrous on my tbss. And when done right it works like hell. But to do it right, and if you run the nano system you know, its isn't all that much cheaper than a blower.

None. Zero. The new breed of Forced Induction is light years ahead of where it was before. The reliability and driveability is spectacular. Go for it.
