I think the chassis was DC2 not DC4. I had one of those, the z28 has the same soul

You are right. It's DC2.

Yellow tinted headlights are cool. Looks like Endurance GT class racing....

Are these legal? Would you be pulled over?

I want to add this as well.

The latest thing will generate buzz, and add some greedy dealer pricing and its not a wonder that you get 100k asking prices.

Flipped pic so pizza wouldn’t slide into engine bay. Now it’s worth $120k

It's fun reading all your comments about the Z/28's. I also LOVE the high performance Camaros and feel like the market is sleeping on the Z28 still. I currently have a 2014 ZL1 Convertible and would love the opportunity to pair a Z/28 with it in the future, thing is, I hope the market doesn't just take off in the mean time. I've done a few nationwide car gurus searches just for fun and they seem to be hanging in the 50's, the lower the miles the higher the price. I hope to buy one in a year or two. Shame of it is, I think the market will catch up by then.

That being said it's the only Camaro to EVER have an LS7 from the factory and if you have a non A/C car then you really have a rare bird.

In the meantime I guess ill just have to enjoy my other Z! I know, I know, TERRIBLE

Love the posters! ZL1 is no slouch

Yes, Z28 prices are climbing albeit slower compared to other enthusiast cars. Low miles could be had for high 30's and low 40's. Not anymore. That ship has sailed..

Better pull the trigger now because prices are just going to keep climbing. This applies to other performance oriented cars as well.

Driving home from office and a cyclist pulls up next to me at the light. He was on Al Oppenheiser's team working on the Z28. Responsible for PTM and ABS functions. Everybody loved working on the Z project and very proud of the accomplishments. He loves seeing Z on the road and glad that people like us are appreciating this beast.

Just thought I would share this story. Made my day!

Here in the UK you get 3 main responses:

Kids: "ITS BUMBLEBEE!"
Non car guys: "Camaro eh? All good until you get to a corner, they dont go round corners do they? "
Car guys: "Holy shit, thats the Nurburgring one, right? "

Everyone else: "Why is the ground shaking?"
