Winter Storage?
Hey guys, so this coming week i am storing my car for the winter, so i can finally start work on it, but i know that just leaving a car sitting is NOT good for it. i kno some of the basic stuff, but i was wondering if anybody had any tips on storing a car for the winter? thanks in advance!!

put a battery tender on it. Put fresh gas in it, and start it up every week or so

Put Sta-Bil in the tank and fill it to the top. Put an automatic battery charger/tender on the battery and you are done. Don't jack it up to prevent flat spots on the tires and don't bother to start it up unless it can run long enough to completely warm up to operating temperature. It will fire up in the spring like it was just parked the day before.

i actually need to put stabil in mine, but this year she finally gets a garage, not heated but out of the weather. I dont usually do anything special, just disconnect the batt and it stays charged. its an autozone pos so if it dies i take it back and get a new one.
So its a 65 Mustang on the left, Liberty in the middle and my camaro on the right. Fight nicely children |

Over inflate the tires to around 42 lbs. Add bounce sheets to the interior under the hood and inside the trunk.
