Exactly, which is why I said "(depending on where you are parked)."
However, the better alternative to solve this little issue is to purchase a set of four hydraulic wheel dollies and leave them in the back of your car. Yes, it may be a pricey investment, but they are incredibly useful to have for normal situations. And in this unusual situation, they could be particularly priceless. Simply move the car to the desired location and go about your business. No property damage done. Mission accomplished. Plus, if you have the pleasure of being able to see the parking spot from your place of residence (or employment) it can amount to a few chuckles when the owner arrives back at their vehicle to see that their car has magically moved itself to a proper parking alignment, albeit ten spaces away next to the dumpster.

Now this is why you try to keep an old beater car around. Not only is it perfect for winter, but when you don't have to care about door dings, just think of all the fun little things you can do.

The bigger person would have just let them be and not parked next to them.

I keep saying...if you park in two spots, you risk a keying or worse. It's not right, but why even tempt fate like that? The above way is a harmless (but annoying) way of getting the point across. And you notice it changed the douchebag behavior.
