Oh its tight , ive tried everything. If you take the ball of its fine. Im thinking some rtv up in the ball, and teflon on tje threads

my guess is you are hearing the shifter rattle

No shifter rattle. Only with ball on. Take ball off kt stops. But say it is the shifter. What can i do to fix

Ok if it's the ball. put some teflon tape on the threads, put the ball on and make sure the lower nut is screwed tight.

What is the difference between metal bushings for sale on Phastek Performance and the ones by NH-SS?

just ordered mine! Now on over to Hurst's website to buy the kit.

And I should just tell Hurst to not send the damn bushings and just credit me $40!! haha

I got my bushings / should I get any replacement screws or bolts .
I dont want to start this job and find out the hard way.

someone said they get vibration noise from these. brass ones from NH-SS

Hurst is sending me two new updated nylon ones. yes I said two that implies they still
wear out also . So I think I should stick with the brass ones sold here. Any one else have issues with the brass ones.

I am here at the shop right now and we cannot get the metal bushing to fit. No offense to NH-SS they would not get it. We have been working for 4 hours with no luck. I think we got a bad set of metal bushings.

The bushings are inspected 100% for tolerance of + / - .0003 on all dimensions. You did not recieve a Bad Set of bushings. Other tolerances as to the shifter end housing I.D and shifter pin O.D. I do not have control of.
