Thinking of going e85 and have fuel questions
Hi All, I purchased a 2010 camaro ss.
Reading around the forums and its been a great help but, I am thinking of switching to e85 or flex fuel. Currently has the 85# fast injectors and zl1 pump and ADM FPCM. I am under standing that I need to most likely upgrade my injectors. I was thinking FIC 1000's. Would the zl1 pump be good enough if I get a Boost a Pump. I'm looking to reach over 700RWHP/750RWHP. Anything else I should purchase? I have done some research but its pretty conflicting. I also don't have a local tuner to talk to yet. I do have somebody I'm going to be talking to in a month or two. BAP is not enough for E85.
DSX has an e85/aux pump kit and he’ll reprogram your FPCM for free. That is what I’m running.. Injectors will be needed as you noted, I have the ID1050x... making 747 RWHP, 794 RWTQ... -Don

Hammdo with the DSX kit did you have to run a bigger fuel line. Also you a running a ZL1 pump correct. I am getting everything to put a procharger on my 1le and have read a lot of your stuff.

Sell all the ZL1 stuff and just do a real twin pump setup with flex fuel, AGP has the best priced setup, squash and fore have complete kits as well

Not necessarily. I have a V pump, Vaporworx controller, JMS booster and ID850'S, plus meth and on E50 make enough power to trap 143-145.

Been looking myself also. The DSX kit looks very nice and will get you to 1000+RWHP. It keeps the factory FPCM with ZL1 pump. So it will keep the PSI perfect with out running balls out all the time. So you have factory reliability and quiet with a booster pump kicks on at a preset psi like 8 or 10 of boost. If you like to drive a lot this kit seems the best.
They are right AGP has what seems the best twin/ triple pump setup for the price. The twin with E85 setup is $1800. It’s a really nice setup. I am leaning towards the DSX kit. But never know with me lol. |

OP looks like you already received some good advice, more pump and injectors will be needed.
How do you like the McLeod RXT Twin? I am getting one installed next week.

Does the ACE setup retain the bucket so you don't have to always worry about fuel at 1/4 of a tank?
