Question about new wheels

Hi! I hate my silver wheels so I want to purchase black ones and I love the SS ones but do all custom wheels only come in a larger size then what came on my stock Camaro? I donít want to have to purchase new tires just to have black wheels. This is a newbie question but Iíve always just plasti dipped my wheels in the past but I donít want to on the camaro.

I have been recently doing a lot of searching to go from 21 inch to 20 inch due to the cost the 21 inch tires. So, in my searching I used the Sticky at the top of the forum as it lists the tire and wheel size combinations that work. It is a matter of finding a supplier that has the look you want in the wheel size listed in the sticky. Don't forget to look at offset. The wheels I just bought are 20x8 with 35mm offset for the front and 20x9 with 40mm offset for the back. Be cautious also if you car has Brembo brakes. Make sure you discuss that with the supplier as some wheels can hit the calipers on a car with Brembo's from what I found in my research. On my new wheels that are black and machined chrome, the fronts get really close to the caliper. I just posted a thread on this...

If you love the SS ones, why not just get your current ones powdercoated?

I thought about plasti dipping them because thatíll save me a whole lot of money and it lasted pretty good on my 350Z.

Some of your reputable wheel manufacturers will be able to cut your wheels to your liking.

They sell wheel caps that fit over some stock wheels.
