Problem is Hennessey hasn't come up with a proper clutch to handle all the power that will mate up between the LS9 and the Tremec. The test driver mentioned in the article about all the clutch slip!

umm, if someone can't figure out what engine the Z28 will have based on the comments in this thread from Halltech, then there's really not much hope for them

It's a good move for GM to put the LSA in the Z. They will prolly sell more LSA Camaros than Caddy's!

with LSA what kind of mods will be available to push it to 600RWHP ? Can you swap the pulley to increase boost ? I guess with headers they will have to design then after the car comes out unless the fit would match the current config. Cams I suppose.

Did I miss something? We all know the Z28 is coming and common sense dictates an LSA to compete with the Shelby and give some headroom due to the inevitable Ford response. FI is always easier to get more power cheaper.

Nothing groundbreaking here......

The LSA is very responsive to mods. Here is a 605rwhp CTS-V having some fun. Keep in mind that the CTS-V weighs several hundred pounds more than an SS Camaro and I would think the Z28 might be a little lighter than that.
