Don't forget that Vette is 1000lbs lighter ...

I run the Invos on my car 315s in the rear 275s on the front. and they seem to be awesome road course/autocross tires. they rail on the road even when wet and high speed. ( ask how I know )

this is on a car putting down above 510hp now closer to 520 after retune.
my only complaint is they do not hook for crap straight line when all the power comes on.
but then again other than a drag radial what is going to.

With most ZL1 tire sizes costing north of $1,100 per set, another $200 to upgrade to Michelins was a really east decision to make.

I can tell you that the Michelins are better in every way than the GY F2's. They have a longer tread life, are quieter on the hwy, won't slide all over the damned place in the cold and are planted and predictable in every situation I've put them through so far. Plus upgrading to a 315/35 rear gave me better off-the-line grip than the stock 305 GY's.
If the 305 rear was available would you still have gone with a 315? I could not find the Michelin's in the OEM rear size.

Going smaller in the front and bigger in the rear is a sure way to induce understeer.

315's without a doubt. Under steer is a weekend racers best friend IMO.

Just put Nitto NT05 on the rear. GY up front still. Wanted more traction from a roll and off line. So far they hook good in second and third. First is another story. Better than GY though. I went to 315.

Ihave nitto invos 315 and 285. The stock perellis were better. The invos slip and slide all over the place. I drive a very curvy stretch of road every day and the Perellis were faster even at the smaller stock sizes.

That was my only complaint on the Invo's. They certainly ride better than the GY's and straight line traction was comparable. But on turn in,the fronts rolled over like a French soldier. I replaced them with Michelins after a week.

I'm not seeing this at all usually within 1 second of 1LEs during auto cross and this past weekend we were up in the country blasting curves at way north of 100mph and they were on rails right behind the vettes. Never once did they ever give even a little even when the pack went from dry road into a very wet corner due to scattered showers. Very confident in these tires.

Can I get a set of PSS's and mount them on my stock black 10 spoke wheels? stock GY's are 285 and 305.

Could you safely do 284/35/20 or 295/35/20 on all fours?
