Wrecked my splitter... Replacement?

I'm generally very careful about pulling into parking spots, but this time I just didn't pay enough attention to how far I was pulling in to the spot at my apartment rental office.

The splitter took a pretty good hit on the slightly-higher-than-average granite curb and it's noticeably damaged. It was rock chipped and sandblasted before... but from a distance it looked fine.

The part number I've got is 22997432. Does anybody know if this is just the splitter or a whole kit? I don't need the mounting brackets, and I think I can source the rivets from a member here for cheap. 22997432 lists for almost $500, which is ridiculous. I want to replace it, but I can't justify $500 for a plastic piece.

The splitter is also loose now, which leads me to believe that some rivets may have been damaged as well.

That can be fixed. I would go to a good body shop. I just ripped mine up pretty good. Paid $225 and they took it off, Fixed it. Painted it and reinstalled it.

I have ordered part #22997432 at a local Chevy dealer. It includes a primered 1LE Splitter (2014-2015), mounting brackets, aluminum rivets, plastic rivets, and one sheet of paper instructing the dealer where to print the install instructions.

I know this is a older post but curious to what the outcome was?

Well, I still haven't gotten around to taking the splitter off. I did buy a rivet set from another member, but I haven't drilled out the old rivets yet. I'd like to take it off, but I know from experience that there are a few plastic clips there that I'm afraid of breaking. I haven't decided if it's worth it or not yet.

There is a company called Aveco, https://www.auveco.com. They make all the various clips and fasteners.

There website kind of sucks but if call them they are very helpful.

I have used them for a lot of stuff for my cars.

Good luck
Craig

I am debating myself as well on messing with mine over the winter. It drives me crazy with regards to the scratches but I'm not really feeling motivated yet dealing with removing all the clips and fasteners.
