In need of a fuel expert
I come here in peace, although I don't have a Camaro, just the motor.. any info would be appreciated.
I am puting a project together for my son. Its a 61 2WD Chevy shorted fleet side. Anyway we installed a 2013 Camaro V6 motor. I am only in the beginning stages at bare frame. So I put a Aluminum fuel cell in it and want to put in an external inline fuel pump. So I tried looking up how much LPH the stock fuel pump puts out and come up empty handed. The only thing I found from the dealer is it puts out 50-87 PSI. So I'm wondering if I put on a 255 LPH is this to much or to little? It does not have a return line for unused fuel. Also the tank won't support the OEM fuel pump. Any help of suggestions ? Thanks in advance. |

Glad to see you made it over to Camaro5.com to ask this question. The other site you posted that question on is a nice site for the V6 folks, but does not get the traffic that this site does. Hopefully someone chimes in with good help. Looks like a few have already. Good luck with the build, keep us updated with photos if possible as the build proceeds.
