I did watch it, at least the one with the LS. I think maybe they did another with an old school big block. My take away was some what different from yours, since they all agreed they wouldn’t run the 87 on the street since it took away a lot of the safety factor.

It first has to hear knock and knock isn't good for a gas engine. This also reduces the power.
This.

You know…. I wonder if Hudson and Fasnuf are the same guy and this is just a really well played April fools joke…

I have not kept up on pro engines.
https://www.sonnysracingengines.com/...racing-engines
1000 cubic inches and 2000hp and up to 3000hp on nitrous. That was shocking along with the price tag, $100,000
As they used to say, Alrighty then

Yesterday I was buying some bread in Walmart to go along with my Costco Polish sausage. It's up to $3 unless you get the generic Walmart brand which I did, only 93cents a loaf. Thanks to God I'm not poor but I'm not going to be buying a $100k engine anytime soon for fun. In fact I need to build a second garage which could be done with foundation and everything for under half that.

Takes a little more than a screwdriver, feeler gauge, and a 3/16 hex to work on these engines. lol I needed a good laugh this morning!

YES it does, takes a dyno and lots of testing, not someone's opinion. here is the testing.
