Btr stage 4 results

OK I am trying to see if I am in the ball park with the btr stage 4 cam.
447rwhp/429rwtq this with s/p headers with high flow cats and retro chambered exhaust. Also had 3.91 insatlled. M6. It's seems a little low to me from my research. My tuner seems to think the chambered tail section is robbing some power.

From other cars I've seen that sounds low. It could just be the dyno?

No, Dino seemed to be close to expected with headers and exhaust. I think it is 30-40 Hp lower than expected

My BTR 3 made 480 on a Mustang dyno. Only other bolt on's were ARH LT's cat delete and CAI. It seems you should still have some more power left on the table.

You need to see what other LS3 cars make on that dyno

He showed me some run files on a 2013 1le with a smaller cam with about 15 more hp. Hey seems to thinking it's my exhaust holding it back

Nope. Who makes the exhaust?

I made 423rwhp with S/P headers, hi-flo cats, and the retro catback. Only other mods were CAI and ported TB. Numbers seem low.

I have same exhaust and make 470 with automatic, tsp vvt2 cam (lot smaller) and hesd work. No reason you are so much lower than me other than tune or Dyno. I did do Dyno in Florida but elevation wouldn't make that big difference.

Well the retro chambered are somewhat restrictive compared to Borla or MagnaFlow because of their design. They have a louvered core that gives them that certain sound they have. Only suggestion I can make is try their muffler delete rear section and re-dyno. If it improves, then that's your culprit.

I'd be really surprised if you're finding out that a cat-back exhaust is holding you back by 10 (or more) horsepower. Exhausts have been dyno'd thousands of times here on this site and I've yet to see anyone provide any conclusive evidence that any catback is better or worse than the next.

I have a hard time believing it can be that. I would look more towards the tune. Getting KR...maybe the injector timing needs to be moved around (common with cams).

Did the tuner do anything other than tune in your MAF fueling? Did he tune the VVE tables? Did he log/tune in the spark? Injector timing?
