Headlights going crazy

My headlights with NO warning will go off while I'm driving. Someone say it sound like the balace or something like that. I've been stopped twice now by the law and both times was able to talk them out of a ticket. Its the 2010 Camaro that I bought out of New Orleans. Also they do not go off until I play with the switch when I park it. What should I replace. Both bulbs have been replaced, not sure about the headlight switch, I think it has been replaced during the last couple years. For now I only drive it during the day time.

Thanks Michael in South Boston, Va

There is a plug in the lower grille area towards the passenger side, behind the fog lamp. Make sure you have a good connection there, if not then check out the switch, the headlights are on a timer when you turn the engine off, don't be fooled into thinking playing with the switch is whats turning the lights off.

That plug needs to be unplugged anytime the front bumper is removed. Might have been not put back tight?
