Rotrex should have answer by early to mid next week. If covered under warranty nothing will be shipped out unless chargeback is closed and funds are back to us though.

What an absolute joke of a situation. And that kids.... is why you buy AMERICAN. Quality control is a little rough across the pond. MIGHT honor warranty? 35% restocking fee's? LOL!!!!!!

Warranty covers manufacturer defects like any other company out there. If the part is deemed to have broken from manufacturer defect, then the warranty covers it. Same as any other supercharger or turbo kit.

Same for restocking fee. Most companies wouldn't let you return a used and/or broken kit for any refund at all.

I'm hoping Rotrex covers it under warranty and can get a replacement shipped out once the chargeback is closed.

Good and bad news..


Bad news is Rotrex said the damage was 100% from not being properly primed with oil. They said there was no oil inside and it overheated and caused it to seize.

They are not covering the replacement because it was shown to be user error that caused it to seize up.

Good news is I spoke with Kraftwerks and myself and Kraftwerks will split the cost on a replacement supercharger and send you one for free. In order to do this the chargeback will have to be cancelled and I will have to receive the funds before a replacement will be shipped out.

I will also need a signed disclaimer that you will either take it to a professional to install it or waive the right to a replacement if the same things happens again due to improper installation.

A generous offer. Even though I still wouldn't be caught dead with a Kraftwerks blower, my opinion of both Kraftwerks and Moddiction just went up, IF you follow through as stated here in front of God and everybody!
