I would highly recommend getting in touch with Brian Tooley. Top notch springs.

I use AFR 8019 springs. Installing my third set. Have had no problems with them.

Brian Tooley platinum springs, remember the closer you are to coil bind the better. If you lift on a cam is .620 DO NOT get a .750 lift spring. Also no need for high spring pressures either.

There have been some questions about the use of PAC 1208x springs with the NFC and LS3 lifters. That seems to be a lot of spring for that combo. BT platinum springs might be a better option. Cheaper too.

I think it's more of a long term issue. Using a spring with a max lift of .750 will cause premature wear on the surrounding valvetrain parts. You may not see the results of that for thousands of miles. I'm sure there's someone else on here that can give a more in depth explanation.

This.

PAC springs are great springs. It's not the springs that are failing, it's the unneeded excessive pressure on the rest of the valve train. A lesser pressure spring would cause less abuse on everything else while still handling the cam lift without a problem. I don't know the max lift on the NFC, but I'd imagine it's in the .630-.640 range. A .750 max lift spring is a lot for that application. The BT platinum springs are .660 lift and $100 cheaper.

Im on the same boat I have a nf cam waiting install. The lift is 61x on both intake and exhaust, will btr 660 springs be okay? I ve been read up on all these cam failures just wanna do it right the first time around.

Yes they would. They have two flavors, depending on what you want to spend. Platinum with ti retainers for $300 or with steel retainers for $220.
